This Bohlerstrip cutting rule is a milestone in the enhancement of standard cutting rules and is used for reducing make-ready time. The innovation lies in the patented* design of the cutting rule back, becoming a "pre-programmed" compensation zone enabling self-alignment of the cutting rule under pressure. The cutting rule tip is therefore subjected to less force, and so is kept sharp for longer and lasts longer.  * Patent AT508551B.

Three versions offer the perfect cutting solution for the label industry. LXS has the
focus on extreme bendability at reduced body hardness while LXH aims at maximum
service life and stability due to its increased body and edge hardness. LX represents
the ideal compromise between LXS and LXH.

Plast-X is a well-established bohlerstrip innovation to cut PET, PE, PVC, PP,
blister packs and thermoplastic materials. We apply technology from razor blade
manufacturing, which drastically improves die-cutting performance.
Plast-X is available in three versions. While PXS has the focus on best bendability,
PXH offers best knife service life due to increased body and edge hardness. PX
represents the ideal compromise between PXS and PXH.
